MUCH NEEDED long weekend!

I have 4 days off! I am soooo excited! I definately need this break from work. I am going to be heading to Rochester, NY to visit my sister and her husband... should be fun times! I think we will be doing some yard saling and I might be getting another tattoo...SHHHH... don't tell my mom though..hehe! I am 27 years old, living on my own, owning my own home- takin care of myself... and still worry about my parents reaction. They didn't freak out too bad about the first one sooo hopefully this one won't be too much of a shocker. I will have to share photos once it is healed!

These are a couple fun finds from the past weekend. the 3 Circus Paint By Numbers are CERTAINLY not the best I have seen... but I have a hard time passing up paint-by-numbers when I see them so I grabbed them anyway. Fun colors if nothing else. I also found a fun faux bois Port A File and I really cool vintage travel bag that was meant for a pair of shoes. The tag is still on and I am pretty sure it was never used. LOVE the pattern and colors... you can't fully appreciate it in this picture :)

Hope everyone has a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! Any fun plans?

OHH! And who is signing up for the RVA Summercamp Class? I am pretty sure I am going to!

Super Yummy Recipe

Sorry I haven't posted lately. Been kinda busy... which isn't a bad thing in my book! I have lots of things I want to post about but for now I am going to share this delicious Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe. I am sure most everyone has made or at least tried Buffalo Chicken Dip. It's not like this is some new thing. But this recipe is brought to you by Hungry Girl . She is pretty popular now but if you haven't heard of her check out that link! She basically takes super fatty foods and recipes and finds ways to make delicious lower fat alternatives.

Her take on Buffalo Chicken Dip is called Buff Chick Hot Wing Dip (great name, right?!)

PER SERVING (1/15th of recipe, about 1/4 cup): 68 calories, 1.5g fat, 616mg sodium, 2g carbs, 0g fiber, 1g sugars, 10g protein -- POINTS® value 1

Ingredients:
Two 9.75-oz. (or 10-oz.) cans 98% fat-free chunk white chicken breast in water, drained
One 8-oz. tub fat-free cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup Frank's RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce
1/2 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup fat-free ranch dressing
1/4 cup fat-free Greek yogurt (Fage 0% is the best!)

Directions:Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place cream cheese in a medium bowl and stir until smooth. Mix in Frank's RedHot, mozzarella cheese, ranch dressing, and yogurt. Stir in chicken until thoroughly combined. Spoon mixture evenly into a deep 8-inch by 8-inch baking dish. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes, or until mixture is heated through. Stir well and enjoy!

MAKES 15 SERVINGS
HG Alternative! To make this dish FAST, skip the oven altogether. Prepare dip according to the directions, but in a microwave-safe dish. Then microwave uncovered on high for 5 minutes (stopping and stirring halfway through cooking), or until hot.

I made this for the first time on Tuesday and boy was it a hit! I doubled the recipe (which ended up being waayyy too much). I took some of it to a get together with some friends Tuesday night and then the rest of it to work Weds. and everyone at both places just thought it was the BOMB :) It is definitely worth trying. Tasted just as good, to me, as the original fattier version!

Just wanted to share!

Another Peek Inside and a MUST HAVE.....

I had been wanting tree decals for my living room wall for awhile and was finally gifted them on my birthday in March. My mom helped me to put some of them up. The kit came with 6 all together but we only got around to putting 3 up. But the more I look at them the more I think 3 is enough for this wall. The other 3 just might have to go other random places in the house. The decals came from PopWall on Etsy. They have LOTS of great decals I wouldn't mind having in my house :)

And just some fun eye candy I saw while I was at Lowe's the other day that I think I MUST have for my little patio.... The Garden Treasures Retro Patio Collection
LOVE IT!
